Fire risk assessment reviews
Already have a fire risk assessment? Let's keep it current
Fire risk assessments need reviewing regularly, and whenever something changes. I'll visit, check your existing assessment against how the building is used today, and issue an updated report.

When it's time for a review
It's been a while
If your assessment is a year or more old, it's due a look, even if nothing obvious has changed.
Something has changed
Building work, a new layout, a change in how the space is used, or who uses it.
After a fire or a near miss
Any incident is a sign to check the assessment still reflects the real risks.
Someone has asked
Your insurer, council, landlord or the fire service wants to see an up-to-date assessment.

Review or full assessment?
When a review becomes a new assessment
A review checks that a sound, existing assessment still holds. You'll need a full assessment instead if:
- The existing assessment isn't up to scratch. It's a generic template, misses whole areas or doesn't match the building.
- The building has changed significantly. A new layout, an extension, or changes to escape routes, doors or walls.
- The use has changed. A house that's become a short let, an HMO with extra rooms, or new residents with higher support needs.
- It's been several years. Reviews in between are fine, but a fresh assessment every few years is good practice.
Send me your current assessment before booking and I'll tell you which you need. If I arrive and it's clearly a full job, I'll explain why and agree the price with you before doing any more.
Review price
Review of an existing assessment
from £179
The final price depends on the size of the building, and you'll know it before you book.
Someone else wrote your original assessment?
That's fine, I review those too. If it isn't fit for purpose, I'll tell you honestly before I start, and a new assessment may be the better option.
